The box is labeled Barnesolv and decorated with teddy bears. The pattern on the handle showed a mother and child deer. I assume it’s a gift for the birth of a child. I can’t find another set on the internet. So it is the unique piece on the market. Very attractive. 90 grams of 830 silver.

14” tall antique teddy bear is very rare. The head is very hard and it feels like straw stuffing. The body has a gear mechanism within, taking up the entire midsection. This mechanism articulates the arms. The arms move together in a backward motion, 360 degrees, in about 15 locking positions. The arms are also hard and feel like the mechanism covered by straw. The legs are much softer. The eyes are black with amber accents to complement the bear’s fur coloring. This is clearly a very old, primitive, bear that would be a great addition to anyone who collects teddy bears or vintage stuffed animals.
