This is a pair of Egyptian style Sphynx. They are a mirrored pair. I've painted them to look like pale stone (Historically they would have been brightly painted when first constructed, but I like to keep my scenery in the background not brighter than the miniatures I'm playing with; plus this is how Egyptian sphynxes tend to look now since the paint has worn off.).
